At The Translate Iowa Project, we take translation beyond its perceived limit. We believe it is the duty of a diverse community to provide an outlet for voices of all backgrounds. By maintaining a linguistically and culturally inclusive platform, we seek to publish creative writing, art, and multimedia that explores all perspectives of the human experience. Through translation, we aim to present all language-specific contexts so that they are readily available to and understood by everyone. We believe it is essential to portray the original and translated works as individual pieces that are valued equally and share the same intrinsic meaning. We plan to have a diversified editorial and translation staff in order to properly represent any and all linguistic and cultural contexts. Our collective love for creative work has no boundaries.
