About
Nightingale Writers' Group (NiteWrite) is devoted to the encouragement of creative writing among University of Iowa students. Writing is a great hobby, but the hustle and bustle of college life can make it difficult to find time for it. This group is designed to motivate students to set aside time in their week for creative writing. We will meet once a week, and each meeting will have a discussion and a writing workshop. Discussions will focus on a specific writing topic, with a different one each week. During workshops, members can present things they've written, whether it be another chapter in their novel, a short story, poem, play, or just a fraction of any of these, and have other members provide feedback. Everyone is welcome, regardless of your major or how much writing experience you have. If you're interested in reading amazing student works, sharing your own writing, or socializing with other writers, NiteWrite is the perfect club for you!
